FemPulse Clinical Data to be Presented at ICS on October 9

VIENNA and SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FemPulse™, a bioelectronic medical technology company with first application overactive bladder (OAB), announced today that data from two recent clinical studies will be presented at the International Continence Society (ICS) annual meeting in Maastricht, The Netherlands on October 9, 2026.

“The great interest among practitioners in FemPulse’s non-invasive vaginal neuromodulation Ring led to invitations this year to present at SUFU in Puerto Rico, AUA in Washington DC, and IUGA in Rio. I look forward to now discussing FemPulse’s technology and data in Maastricht, especially with the Ring recently receiving CE Mark for the EU,” said Suzette E. Sutherland, MD, Principal Investigator of the FemPulse clinical studies.

FemPulse will also be exhibiting the FemPulse Ring™ throughout the ICS conference. It is a wearable wireless neuromodulation device that women can insert vaginally, wear continuously, and remove themselves. The patented FemPulse Ring is unique in being self-retained in the upper vagina with eight programmable surface electrodes intended to directly target the nerves that control communication between the bladder and the spinal cord. FemPulse has now completed four successful clinical studies designed to demonstrate safety and efficacy of the device.

Dr. Alexandra Haessler, urogynecologist-developer of the FemPulse Ring, said: “ICS is the ideal venue to demonstrate the FemPulse Ring to practitioners from across Europe and the world. I am gratified by the great interest since grant of CE Mark and look forward to attending the conference.”

Thomas Huber, President of FemPulse GmbH, added: “Members of our Vienna-based European commercial team will also be in Maastricht. We look forward to sharing with clinicians how we plan to match the tens of thousands of women who have self-identified as without an acceptable treatment option with local providers to give them access to the quality-of-life-changing FemPulse Ring.”
